Address Book & Speed Dials
Overview
The Address book is a centralised contact management tool that allows users to store, organise and access important business contacts. It allows users to save essential details such as names, phone numbers, email address and job titles for quick access.
The Address Book has two sections:
- Local Contacts – Personal contacts visible only to the user.
- Organization Contacts – Shared contacts accessible to all organization members.
Proper categorization of contacts ensures efficient communication and easy access.
2. Adding a Contact to the Address Book
Add a contact to the Address Book to store and organize essential details for quick and efficient communication.
- Log in to your account.
- On the right side of your screen click the “Address Book” icon.
- Click “New contact” and enter required details:
- Contact type
- First name & last name
- Company name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Job title
- Department
- Suffix
- Click “Save” to store the contact in the address book.


2. Using Speed Dials in the Address Book
Speed Dials allow users to assign a short code to frequently called contacts for quick dialing. Instead of entering the full number, users can dial the short code for instant access.
Set a short code for a contact by following the steps below:
- Navigate to “Address Book” and click “New contact”
- Enter required details and click the “Edit” icon next to “Type”.
- A pop up appears, click “+Add shortcode”
- Select a “shortcode” from the “dropdown” menu and click “submit.


Now you can use this short code to make a call instead of dialing a complete number.

3. Favourite contacts
Mark contacts as Favorite in the Address Book for quick access to frequently dialed numbers.
- Navigate to “Address Book” to access all your contacts.
- Click on “three dots” next to the “contact name”.
- Click “Add to favourites”.
- Now you can quickly access this number in “favourites” and make a quick call.
