How do I make calls using VoIPBusiness? Do I have to dial a special number?

No, there is no need to dial a special number. Making and receiving calls with the VoIPBusiness service is the same as with a standard telephone/mobile. For calls within the UK you have to dial the full number including the area code and for international calls dial 00 followed by the country code. To dial other VoIPBusiness users, simply dial their VoIPBusiness ID from your VoIP Phone. All calls to other VoIPBusiness users are absolutely free.

So I can cancel my existing phone contracts?

That’s up to you. You don’t need an existing landline or mobile contract to use VoIPBusiness. Of course, if your internet connection is provided through your landline or mobile, you’ll still need that.

Are there any monthly charges or hidden costs?

No. It’s FREE to sign up with VoIPBusiness and there is no monthly subscription fee or any hidden costs associated with the standard service. When you sign up with VoIPBusiness, you will have to top up your account to make and receive calls.

Can my employees use mobile devices with VoIP?

VoIP can be easily setup and configured for use on most mobile devices. There are many third-party VoIP clients available for major mobile OSes and quite a few vendors offer their own dedicated client that can be used by employees.

How much mobile data does VoIPBusiness use?

As a general guide, VoIPBusiness will use approximately 1mb of data per minute. This can be variable, depending on which additional features you are using. VoIPBusiness data consumption is at most equivalent to most other IP or cloud-based systems.

How do I use VoIP to receive a call?

Pick up the phone and answer the call. A greeting is usually appreciated. Kidding aside, VoIP should seamlessly replace your current phone service. If you are using a softphone, you will need to have your computer on and the softphone program open in order to receive the call. Then you should just have to click to answer.

I am moving soon, can I take VoIP with me?

Yes, VoIP phones work with an IP address. IP addresses don’t have physical locations, so that means that you take your IP phone to any physical location that has high-speed Internet.
